Our first game, Fujiwara Phoenix is a 2D metroidvania Touhou fangame following the invincible Fujiwara no Mokou on a reignited quest for revenge around the fantastical, youkai-infested land of Gensokyo after she discovers a way to finally kill her archrival, Kaguya Houraisan, and end their thousand-year feud. Inspired by both a deep love and appreciation for the Touhou Project and games like Hollow Knight and DOOM, Fujiwara Phoenix is a relentless, fast-paced platformer that pushes the boundaries of the metroidvania genre.
The game is currently available as a demo on our Steam page linked above with the first stage, The Bamboo Forest of the Lost. We are now hard at work on stage 2, Youkai Mountain, and, when it’s done, will be releasing the game in early access. From there the rest of the stages will be dropped as they are finished.
